We have planned several field trips to enrich our summer workshop! We will take a day trip to Wolf Creek nuclear power plant near Burlington, Kansas. Through this tour, we hope to discover the workings of a nuclear power plant and its inherent concepts.

Our second trip will be an excursion to the Fermilab National Accelerator in Batavia, Illinois. By touring this site, we will see various types of accelerators and detectors which we plan on discussing during the workshop. We plan on spending several days in the Batavia area with a possible day planned for going into Chicago.
